PROHIBITNYC × EVISU JEANS SPECIAL COLLABO JEANS
SPECIAL COLLABORATION of "PROHIBIT" and "EVISU" the Japanese denim brand which became known internationally with the high quality of a Japanese premium denim. To discriminate this collabo with the other brands that collaborate with Evisu . Prohibit has selected the NO.1 denim which is the best of EVISU's Japanese Denim. NO.1 denim is a denim cloth that is woven in an ancient woven machine. You can fully able to taste and feel the good old days Japanese vintage denim. The craftsman changing the count of the tread and adjusting them one by one, with all the trouble and time the highest grade denim is created. For the back pocket paint we used the PROHIBIT's color Black (Very rare for the collabo, Evisu usually uses the ivory) and not just black but using a paint that includes lame so that you can only see the print by the angle of light. Prohibit and Evisu created the masterpiece of premium denim with a simple design that is only for the grown ups.
+Japanese Tradition+ A MIKOSHI is a portable Shinto shrine. Shinto followers believe that it serves as the vehicle of a divine spirit in Japan at the time of a parade of deities. During a MATSURI, people bear a mikoshi on their shoulders by means of the two poles. They bring the mikoshi from the shrine, carry it around the neighborhoods that worship at the shrine, and in many cases leave it in a designated area, resting on blocks, for a time before returning it to the shrine.
